13 Years and COUNTING...

Still loving this guy!  More everyday!  Thankful the Lord has already given us 13 years and we are so young..."so so young!"

We celebrated with OUTBACK - one of our favorites.  Then to see Oz in IMAX and 3D.  I think it was the baby's first movie experience.  That IMAX is loud and vibrates through your whole body.  Ha!

Thankful we are not here...

That was fun and all.  But I love the life we've lived together, I love the 5 kids, they are amazing.  I love that he knows everything about me and loves me...I love how full my heart is when he is around.  I love he is my calm,  I love he is my joy, I love he is a constant, I love him...I love him...I love him!!  He makes me proud in the way he leads our family, in his talents (preach, sing, play piano, trumpet, write), I love how he leads our church, I love how he loves his kids, and most of all how he loves me.

He is the best person for me.  I'm so thankful the Lord allowed us to be together and spend 13 years and I'm still counting!!

American Girl

Oh Wow!  We experienced American Girl this weekend.  Our friend Katie Ambrose had her birthday party in Atlanta at the American Girl hotel and then to the mall to the American Girl Bistro.

What an experience.  Not sure how I feel about it.  Pretty WILD.  But I love these girls and we had fun!

Happy Birthday Katie!

Missions Conference

1st Annual Missions Conference for RMLBC.

Guest speakers Mark & Terry Barnes

Hat made of Emu hair.  And Anna surprised Mark by knowing what animal that was...Thanks to the show Ant Farm.

We had Mark and Terry Barnes come as our speaker!  They served with the Lawrence/Ramos clan in Papua New Guinea.  They worked on a base in the tribe as teachers to missionary kids. Our very own Ramos kids were there with them!  It was a very special time.  It was great to get to know them.  Anna just loved Terry.  She said she was so easy to talk to and she answered all her questions - even if they were about the scary animals in the tribe.

I was busy wrangling kids a lot of the time but I loved hearing their stories, advice, trouble, their faith in the Lord and his calling. I love hearing how God calls people out of darkness and into HIS light!  Not only do they tell stories of the light they were in the tribe but their own story of salvation!  Mark is not the average missionary. Spent time in prison before the Lord saved him. No one is too far gone!  Thankful for their mission!

God is so good and I pray he continues to light the fire of missions in our church!
