FINALLY

Yesterday...I finally got to take pictures for the CLARK'S!!!  We've tried to get together several times and nothing ever worked out.  She waited patiently... and I love her for that.

She got her wedding dress out for the girls to put on.  THAT WAS SO MUCH FUN!  We just had a lot of fun being together.

Here are some of my favorites from the day...

I LOVE YOU SHALITA!!!  I hope this proves it!

While I got my craft on...

The last Friday night of every month a group of ladies from the church prepare for our CRAFT SHOW coming up in October.  I was late to this one because I had the privilege to do some Senior pictures for a very cute sweet girl, Jessica.  She's beautiful...

See...

Then I headed off to be CRAFTY!  When I got there everyone was busy as bees and so many people came out.  What a relief.  I thought I sit and talk and entertain the crew.  At which point Erin handed me this chair to do...It's a time out chair.  She had painted it - supposedly that was the hard part?!?  And I had to decorate it.

Take a breath
Count to ten
SIT HERE
don't do it again!

I made that up all by myself.  Poet at heart!

I think it's cute...  I finished my chair at 11, but had the best time with all the girls!  It was a much needed girl night!

Market Day #3

Market day is so fun until I wait until the last minute and PANIC.  I found these cute pencil toppers to make.  But since I waited until 2 days before market day to start them...I thought there is NO WAY we can finish these.  I tried to get Anna to do cookies or something super easy but she cried and really wanted to do these.

I had spent Tuesday Night cutting all the cars and houses.  We were supposed to sew on buttons and all around the edges - b/c it was supposed to be front and back.  Wednesday the more I thought about it the more I realized there is NO WAY we can do 40+ pencils.  It's just not possible.  The girl can't even sew.  So when I picked her up from school I asked her to please consider doing cookies or something edible.  It would take 2 hours at the most!  She got all dramatic (shed a tear or two) and said, "I told everyone at school we were making pencil toppers!"

So, mad at her...because she was getting her way, and I saw a lot of work ahead of us (one being teaching her how to sew)...I said, "YOU HAVE TO DO THEM ALL BY YOURSELF.  I'm NOT helping!!!!"  And she did.  She decided she didn't want front and back b/c she still wanted to use the eraser.  And she also figured glue would do the trick of sewing.  And she did it.  And she did it in 30 minutes!

They don't look like the picture but they sure look like she made them. And for that I'm proud. I'm so proud of her and I've asked her a gazillion times to forgive me!  I think they turned out so cute!!!!

She said, "Mom, market day would be so much fun if you didn't wait till the last minute," she later said, "You would love it.  It's hard doing the craft but when you get there it's so much fun!"  She made me feel REALLY good them.  HA!!

Thank you sweet Anna for doing the project all by yourself.  They look better than anything I could have come up with.  I love you sweet girl.  And again, I'm sorry for getting so upset, and waiting until the last minute...  Thank you for being patient with me.  I really am proud of you!

Orphan Run

We have signed up to do the Orphan 5k Run. So we have been training (we are on week 3)! I'm still waiting for that "Runners High"...that desire to run and not stop running. NONE OF THAT IS HAPPENING FOR ME. I'm nervous every time we have to move up in our training. But this is a good cause and so that inspires me to stick with it!! The Orphan 5K Run is in May and all the proceeds go to bring Gia home. If you are interested in joining us out there PLEASE sign up and register here.
She's a great encourager!!  I can do this!! She is STRONG - can run 3 miles!  NOT ME - yet!
Sometimes I wish he could carry me the whole way!  Right now that's how I feel is the only way I can make it.
Love this silly girl!
Sometimes it's just us!
And sometimes it's all of us!!!
It's been fun getting stronger with such a great group of support. Looking forward to May! Sign up and be there with us!!!

One step closer to Vivi...

SMCS had a baby shower for Silena.  It was so much fun and she got a lot of cute stuff.  I'm still amazed at how different things are then even just 3 years ago.  Some of the stuff she got I didn't even know exsisted!

My sister is such a trooper and I'm so proud of her.  She has terrible pregnancies and she is just so strong.  Her endurance is amazing.

Praying for her and sweet Vivian.  Cannot wait to hold that sweet baby.  SUPER exicited about new baby in the family and even more happy I didn't have to be the one to bring it.  HA!!

Congrats Silena!  You are in the homestretch!  LOVE YOU!!

Mary's 4th Birthday Party

There are those 4 candles I was telling you about.  On the amazing cupcakes Delilah made for Sweet Mary Mae!
*I helped...every white dot you see...I MADE!  I don't envy Delilah's skills AT ALL!*

Which she loved!

And it tasted DE-LISH!!!

Many people agreed...

The Cake Pops were a HIT!

This year Crystal brought puppies to play with (in hopes someone would take them).

If it were up to the kids they would have!!

While many enjoyed the dogs others enjoyed the playground!

All the kids just played and adults got to chat.
The presents were amazing!

Thanks friends and family for everything.

We had a great party!  Thanks for celebrating sweet sweet Mary with us!
