The Twins

These babies always give me a hard time but they were so happy Saturday I had to take them out for some pictures!! Such sweet babies! They are at a good stage. I love that they are sitting up and SMILING!!

Spelling B.E.E

We are so excited that Anna was 1 of 4 kids in her class to make it to the Spelling Bee this year! We are so proud of her! I was going to take pictures and make it a big deal but it didn't go so well!! First of all she refused to study at home and said she knew all the words! Well, apparently she didn't know all the words!! She went through the practice round just fine and then the Spelling Bee started. She was given the word "front" - and she spelled it with a "u" instead of an "o"! She tried to hold it together but when she left the room she cried. BROKE MY HEART! I was actually at lunch and my sister called to tell me that Anna was crying and wanted me. THEN, my boss called right after that to tell me the same thing! I rush to her and she is FINE by that time. As I walked through the halls to find her there are several kids in the hall crying and my heart was so sad. Why do we do this to our kids!?!? It didn't look "fun"...not sure how I feel about Spelling Bees! Noah told her, "Anna, you shouldn't try so hard!" I laughed to myself. That is NOT the advice we need to give our children and is Noah not giving it his best?!? He's so crazy!

I took her to my office and all my coworkers made her laugh, we gave her snacks and coke and she was good! But, she said she doesn't want to go to the Spelling Bee next year! She doesn't want to study! GREAT! We'll see!!

Waiting on Laken

I love these pictures of Hannah! I had so much fun with the Lansdon's...I think we bonded! HA! We took these pictures on Morris Ave. downtown! I was SO intimidated by all the (in my opinion) real photographers! Hannah and Ryan were so sweet to me and were so encouraging!

Well, I would love to take credit for the beauty of these but Hannah & Ryan are the coolest people. They. Are. Beautiful. People!!! Blessed to know them and can't wait to love on baby Laken!

Slumber Party 2011

The girls and I attended our FIRST Slumber Party! Ok...here's a confession... I was NOT excited about it at all! A bunch of 7 year old girls - NO THANK YOU!! BUT, guess what... I had a blast!! And so did the girls! I was called upon for pictures but it turned out that Shea took a lot of the pictures! She just wanted to play with my camera and I let her have at it! She did a GREAT job. And I just hung out! We ate yummy food, danced, sang, watched a movie, we painted toes, and sat around, stayed up late, and then we all put our sleep masks on and went to sleep! Yes, every child was asleep by midnight! And their little snores were like music to our ears! Thanks Kendra for the memories! It was so fun! Same time, Same place, same adults, same kids...next year!

These socks were in MY "goodie" bag!! AND, there was also an AWESOME cup in my bag too!

Nine Years of Noah!!

It's days like this when you realize just how fast life is rolling by! My sweet chunky, snuggly, first born baby turned 9 today!! I've absolutely loved every stage he has gone through. I could give or take a few bad days but it has been SO fun raising him and those bad days only made me stronger!

He's not so chunky anymore (or snuggly) but he is still so sweet, a good friend, well behaved, he's sensitve, he loves having a big family, which includes his cousins and grandparents, and he loves all his siblings (Anna does irritate him the most but he hates when she's not around and to me that proves he can't live without her), he has a great imagination, loves to talk, loves to play outside, loves baseball, and most of all he loves God and believes in him with a pure faith.

Everyday he amazes me! He taught me how to love unconditionally and selflessly. Noah you have changed my life and I thank the Lord for you and pray he does AMAZING things with you - above what we could think or imagine!
