We've Been POUNDED!!

We've been pounded! Our church seems to go above and beyond - has anyone noticed their trend!?! WOW!! This is not even half of the stuff we got from the church tonight! We feel very appreciated and loved! We work with amazing people. We still can't believe we get to serve with such great people. Thank you RMLBC not just for the monitary gifts to us personally but for your love for each other and the gospel. May we as a local body work together to take the gospel to the ends of the earth. We love you!

1st Visit to the Dentist

Oh the dread...the picking, and scraping!

Let's not forget about the tastes...YUCK!

And the sweet relief of water!
Oh the dread...the DENTIST!! Does anyone want to cry?

Don't make us do it! Noah first!
So our ultimate dentist experience begins!
Noah first!

X-Rays...Anna's that doesn't hurt! I can do that!

Cleaning and Scraping!

The Polish tastes AWFUL!

Such a trooper - fluoride...NOT MY FAVORITE!

That Silly Straw makes them laugh!

They loved when they could control the straw themselves!

Dr. Merrill checking Noah out!

All done! WHOO HOO NOAH! GREAT JOB! Noah does have to get some work done - but not much - he did request a "Gold Tooth" while we were there! Shea said she could probably hook him up and Dr. Merrill said he could probably find him some headgear that was big enough to hang coat hangers on! HOW EXCITING!!

Guess who's turn it is now!!

Anna anxiously waited and was so excited to get her teeth cleaned! BUT, when Noah got finished he told her that they put yucky tasting stuff in your mouth and you CANNOT swallow. So then our little Drama Queen got scared - and the Drama started. But no trip (to ANYWHERE) is complete without a few, here's Anna's turn!

Anna scared she is gonna swallow!

We distract her with X-rays! She thinks that's fun - there is a mirror in there!

Anxiously waiting for more X-rays!

The cleaning begins!!

Shea was funny getting her to talk with her hands all in her mouth! And Shea is right...she understood everyword Anna said! Why do they do that?

aaahhhh...the wonderful water!! Rinse that yuckiness away!

Here goes - You can do it Anna!

Shea is right there with you to catch all your "swallow" - b/c Momma is too busy takin' pictures!

You did it!!

Now the "Silly Straw" is all yours!!

While waiting on Dr. Merrill Shea counts Anna's teeth - she has them ALL - YAY and so does Noah - I was missing a permanent tooth so my curiosity was spiked about the kids! But they have them all!

When Anna is nervous you know it. So while she was waiting for Dr. Merrill this was what she was doing!

Being CRAZY!

YAY Dr. Merrill is here and Anna's teeth were perfect! YAY ANNA! I love how she is sitting in the chair! She was so anxious! She's so cute!

Anna is all done now too! What a fun visit!!

You are the World's BEST Hygienist!! You make going to the dentist fun! We love you so much! You don't scrap too hard or floss to hard, you do put yucky stuff in our mouths but you are always there to hold our hand and get us through it! That's why you are the best!
If you want to experience the greatness of Shea - go visit her - she works for Dr. Ray Merrill in Pleasant Grove. ($$CHA-CHING$$ - that's for you Shea - all that business I'm bringin' in - ha)

It's the Feast of Booths

We are celebrating the feasts of booths...and's a bit annoying! A HUGE tent in our living room! Ok, it's not a huge tent just a two man but it's big when you put it right in the middle of the living room with rope all around it holding it up! Sadly we had to cut the celebration short because we are selling some stuff and people were coming to get things...again proved to be an annoyance! HA! it's annoying but the kids LOVE it and they are making GREAT memories! Below is taken from Jason's blog! I'm anxiously awaiting his sermon Sunday!

The Feast of Booths is the pinnacle of earthly rejoicing in the mercy and provision of God, and points forward to a day in which spiritual nourishment and eternal shelter shall be the lot of all those in Christ. Why do we not celebrate this great Feast anymore?

Nehemiah 8:17 And all the assembly of those who had returned from the captivity made booths and lived in the booths, for from the days of Jeshua the son of Nun to that day the people of Israel had not done so. And there was very great rejoicing.

Four words to describe Feast of Booths(and this is the outline for my upcoming sermon Sunday)

Reflection: Leviticus 23:39 On the first day shall be a solemn rest, and on the eighth day shall be a solemn rest.

Food: Leviticus 23:39 On the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the produce of the land, you shall celebrate the feast of the LORD seven days.

Shelter: Leviticus 23:42-43 You shall dwell in booths for seven days. All native Israelites shall dwell in booths, that your generations may know that I made the people of Israel dwell in booths when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.

Satisfaction: John 7:2;37-38 Now the Jews’ Feast of Booths was at hand…On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’”

1/4 of My Burden Lifted

Only the Lord knows how many actual tears have been cried in my prayers for the salvation of my children! And I still weep for the other 3. I have carried a heavy burden since their first breath - the burden was for their salvation. Other worries seem to pale in comparison to that one!

Jason and I have struggled in "when" to allow our kids to be baptized. We don't want them to do it because it looks fun, or because their dad is the preacher, or because they know we desire it...but because the Lord has saved them, called them by name, chosen them, and set them apart. Baptism has become so beautiful to me the past couple of years and I want my kids to appreciate what they are doing! Noah told us that he prayed with Mrs. Vigneulle in K5 - he asked Jesus to come in his heart and forgive him of his sins and save him...and he now feels like he should be baptized. So, Jason and him had a long talk and he seemed to understand - and Jason said - I think it's time! So we proceeded...

Noah was very excited to be baptized...and anyone that has known Noah for any amount of time KNOWS he is our little theologian! I pray the Lord does GREAT things in his life! I pray he leads many lost souls to the Lord! I pray he continues to follow Christ all the days of his life! I pray he will always cherish his relationship with the Lord and seek the Lord in all things! Noah truly is a precious child! Thank you Lord for my sweet Noah and for calling him to yourself - for hearing my cries of mercy on his life and answering my prayers and saving my son!

This is the beginning of life everlasting!

You are forgiving and good, O Lord, abounding in love to all who call to you. Ps. 84:5
