In October Jason got a ticket for "Running a Red Light" - it was actually Yellow (in our opinion). Anyway, they said we had until January to pay the ticket. So, when school started back Jason started checking on it and come to find out it was LATE. When he called they said there will be a $10 late fee added to the ticket price and the price of the ticket will be $153.00 + $10.00 late fee. Okay...it's our fault...we were late! And...we've since starting stopping at Yellow lights!!
So Jason goes downtown to pay the ticket and the lady at the desk was wearing an Obama shirt or pin (Jason will have to clarify that part)...but he starts talking to her...asking her if she was going to Washington...got her all excited about Obama being our next President. And so she replies, "Your total is $153.00" - and Jason said..."But, they told me there was a $10.00 late fee" and she looked at him and repeated... "That will be $153.00" - Thank you Obama!! For our first installment of all you are about to do for us!! HA!
This story is true...I'm being sarcastic of course but it is funny to think we've already "Benefited" from Obama!!

That is hilarious! Maybe I will benenfit with a big fat raise. Maybe he will do away with No Child Left Behind. That may be better than a raise. That would just make my job so much easier!
that is pretty funny. sorry about the ticket, that stinks! well i did not even turn on the tv yesterday. i know it's history and blah blah blah but i just wasn't in the mood!
That is hilarious.. something similar to that happened to me the other day.. i didn't get "anything" out of it but the lady was probably convinced that I was an Obamite.
