Happy Thanksgiving

We had a GREAT Thanksgiving!  Tuesday the kids dressed up as Indians and Pilgrims - Noah and Will were in a cute little program.  Anna and Francie had a feast!  It was a good feast too!  It was a lot of fun!
Yesterday was fun too!  We missed my sister and her family - they had to do thanksgiving with Clint's family!  That's always hard for me but it was still a lot of fun seeing my Grandmother (who by the way was looking and feeling GREAT - she is sick but I was so encouraged yesterday) Grandfather, my Aunt, Uncle, and Cousins and second Cousins!!  FUN!! FUN FUN!!  And the food...extra delicious!

Christmas Bows

What's the going rate on "Homemade" bows? I'm hoping to sell some Christmas bows this season! If you like to buy bows or if you sell bows...Leave me a comment and let me know!

This week Anna's K4 class discussed the story of Esther. Per her teacher when they started discussing Haman Anna stood up and informed the class "Haman came straight from Hell!" Her teacher informed her "that's not where he came from but that was where he was going" and moved on (laughing to herself). She wasn't taken too aback - she knows that the Dollar children are very keen when it comes to their Bible Knowledge!

aaahhh...the day in the life of a Kindergarten Teacher...I can only imagine!

Sweet Home Alabama

Last night on our way home from my mom's house we were listening to 106.9 - OLDIES! Jason and I are becoming fans!! Well, Sweet Home Alabama came on and the kids got fired up and started singing it - so we all got loud and sang along! During the instrumental part of the song, Noah and Anna continue to sing, "Sweet Home Alabama..." here's how they think the song goes...

"Sweet Home Alabama...There is nothing we can do!"

i love evree biyte

I found this piece of paper in the floorboard of my car yesterday and honestly it made my day! It made me grin from ear to ear! Noah wrote this in Sunday School (I think) - he is obviously learning to spell on his own! Isn't it amazing he can spell enthusiastically *wink* but my all time favorite part of this piece of paper is the second to last "sentence" - "i love evree Biyte"

Enjoy! If you can't see it good click on the picture and it should enlarge it!!

Don't Forget to Vote

...and read Jason's Blog...

In Community Bible Study one year we learned Prov. 21:1 and it brought so much comfort to so many of us. Be encouraged!

Prov. 21:1 (NLT)

The king’s heart is like a stream of water directed by the Lord; he guides it wherever he pleases.

I also LOVED Jae's blog - read it if you get a chance!

We had a GREAT time dressing up, eating, trick or treating and visiting with friends and family! Noah was so excited on the way to my mom's house he begged us to just "Let him scream" - in our little Honda Civic - that wasn't happening! I hope y'all all had a great Halloween! I can't wait to see everyone's pictures!
