All I have to say is...

We started school

No tears

Everyone is happy - EXTREMELY HAPPY!

Mary started Briarwood today too! She's happy as well!

Side note...This is just an update since the kids got home...

I just opened Noah's assignment book and his teacher wrote that Will told her (again) -"Noah and I are cousins! And we will be cousins when we are teenagers too!"

Anna said, "Francie is not in my class but we did play with each other on the playground and we had to get separated at nap - she was talking to me - but I gave her my lamb, because I don't just love my lamb, I have lots of other animals I love!"

Can I just say one more time...I LOVE THAT THEY GO TO SCHOOL TOGETHER!

I just wanted to write this down so I could remember this...

The other night we were doing "Story and a Song - and Prayer" and it was Noah's turn to pray and he was telling God how awesome He is and how we aren't and this is his exact words...
"God you are so awesome! We don't deserve this house, we deserve to live outside and eat our rotten apples!"

(FYI - we have a crab apple tree in our front yard!)

I love the way Noah thinks!

And Anna last night was talking about her toys and she said,

"You know those toys you just can't stand to love!"

Do you have any of those toys - the ones you can't stand to love!

I think God is pretty awesome myself and I'm so thankful he gave me THREE GREAT KIDS!

Mary is four months and we finally got the go ahead to eat cereal and first foods! I was so very excited and she does good with cereal as long as it is very runny. She did so good the first two days and now...she is gagging on bananas and crying when she has to eat. The girl loves her bottles and you can tell that's all she wants. I've tried feeding her when she is very hungry (not a good idea), when she's happy (which turns her mood to mad)...nothing seems to change the fact that she doesn't like the food. I've been giving it to her twice a day for almost a week now! It disturbs me and I give up easy. I don't want her to hate the spoon! But we will just keep trying until she likes it!

Below are some pictures from our church Block Party! It was fun! We had waterslides, food, and friends! What more can you ask for!

Jason's biggest fan!

This week Jason goes back to work. I can't believe I'm gonna say this but I'm so excited about getting back into the groove of life! School, work, everyone has a place, something to do, somewhere to be...routine! I'm not much for routines I think it makes life boring after a while but man...I'm ready for one right now.

Noah will start school next Tuesday and Anna will start next Thursday. It's going to be so much fun this year. My sister is teaching up there again and the kids will go to school with their cousins and everyone is so excited about that!

So, pictures of the first days and tales of solitude and sadness will be posted soon! Until then...I'm EXCITED!

Dollar Video

Thank you Luke and Naomi for having us over! OH SO MUCH FUN!! It was ONE of the very best days...

Anna shows her bravery by going down the slide! She loved the slide!

I hate to let the kids know I'm videoing because the first thing they say is..."Can I see the video!"

This next one can be entertaining! Jason throws Noah into an intertube!

I just watched that video and whoever is laughing in the background is making me belly laugh right now!

We just finished our last VBS for the summer. It was our home churchs too! And it was so fun...My kids are addicted to VBS right now. They are sad that it's over...but yesterday I overheard Noah tell Anna that we get a day off from VBS tomorrow! We've been going for 2 weeks now! I've had a great time too - I had so much fun getting to know our church family even better! And, Mary even had fun...Look how CUTE! The nursery people made that shirt for her...I'm very impressed!! They all love her and say she's "PERFECT!" I just smile and nod and say "I know - isn't she!"

I can't believe that now school is right around the corner! Only 19 more days for Noah and 22 more days for Anna and Mary!
